Second Market- Into Profit!!

Maricopa Market-

I went to a small market in my hometown of Maricopa, AZ. This had about 33 vendors!

$725 in sales!!!!! 

$565 Card

$160 Cash

$465 Profit

What I learned:

Time to make a website-

I had several people asking about a website, so It is time!

Currently comparing different sites and will give an update on all the research so you can select which provider is best for you!

I suggest starting with a custom label as well! I did my first 2 events with the house label and now I am making the switch. 

The reasons I suggest a custom label-

Repeat customers: They will have your information and come back to you if they have your own label.

Uniqueness: You have your own design that no one else has.

Professionalism: Your brand looks more polished when your signs, cards, and product all reflect the same logo.

Opportunities created:

Teaming up with the bakery- 

I approached a local bakery in Maricopa and spoke to them about teaming up with some products. My main goal was to try and have her promote my products by baking with them as she mainly makes sweets and treats. Well further in the conversation she offered me to sell my product in her store along with her using and promoting my products. Now with my products going into her store I have a location that I do not have to maintain that is providing me sales.

Private tasting-

I had a realtor that knew my mom come to me and ask me if I could do a private tasting at her home warming party in a couple weeks. She is a very well known realtor in the area and has tons of connections! I will update on how that goes after the party!

Overall, This weekend was a game changer, it show’d me that I am building into success and quickly. Truly anyone could do this if you have a little bit of up front capitol, determination, and a good area to market!
