2nd Sundays on Mill Ave

My largest sales yet!

This event was in downtown Tempe, AZ which is Arizona State University territory.

This event was 4-5 blocks long and had a ton of foot traffic.

There was everything from craft vendors, dog treats, CBD, to carolers and local artists performing.

A couple things about this market:

• They allowed you to pull right up to your spot and this was my first time setting up alone.
• I purchased a new pop-up canopy that allows one person to easily put it up. I am only 5’2 and I did this easily alone. It also fits sideways in the back of my Camry which allows me to pack my car so much easier with all my product.

• I also purchased a wagon to allow me to move cases and other things easier than one by one if I must do it by hand. This also allows me to keep things in the wagon during the event to avoid clutter or things being on the ground and get dirty.

These two things alone have made this process so much easier for me and gave me the freedom to function on my own.

• Now the next thing about this market which scared me when entering was my usual customer demographic is 30-50. This was all college area! Much younger faces than I was used to, and they loved it!

I pushed the vegan, and health aspects. I pushed the ease of adding oils to pasta and you have an easy dinner. Suggested Prickly pear white in margaritas and these tactics sold!

The beauty of markets is you do get to see all kinds of people and if you can read them or the area you are in, you find ways to market to them and the product will fly off your hands!

I sold out of 3 flavors and was very low on several!

Thankfully we have quick turnaround times, and I can get product for the next event this upcoming Saturday!

Ended at $1,008 in sales which is $300 more than my top sales!
